About Us

Boland Prosthetic & Orthotic Center

Boland Prosthetic & Orthotic Center is an American Board Certified Facility dedicated to restoring mobility and improving lives through custom prosthetic and orthotic care. Since 1998, we’ve served patients across Georgia with personalized solutions, clinical precision, and a commitment to long-term support.

Whether you’re navigating limb loss, recovering from injury, or managing a condition that affects walking or movement, our experienced team is here to help — with compassion, innovation, and care that’s built to last.

Meet Our Dedicated Team

At Boland Prosthetic & Orthotic Center, our greatest strength is our team. We’re a mix of clinicians, technicians, artists, organizers, and problem-solvers — all working together with one shared purpose: to help patients move forward with confidence, comfort, and care that truly fits.

Some of our best work happens when three or four of us are in the fitting room during a check socket appointment, adjusting details together, trading ideas, and celebrating a successful step forward. Collaboration fuels us, and every member of the team brings something special to the table.

This experience gave me a deeper understanding of the field and confirmed my interest in pursuing a career in Prosthetics & Orthotics.”

Marina Serra

“I have had the opportunity to design and develop components for double-wall above-knee prosthetic sockets using Fusion 360, where each design is custom fit to patients. I’ve gained valuable hands-on experience in prosthetic design while working alongside a supportive team.”

Our Culture

We work together, we work with purpose, and we take pride in doing it well. Whether we’re fine-tuning a final socket fit, coordinating insurance authorizations, or designing a new orthotic solution, every step is approached with urgency and heart — because we know what it means to help someone stand, walk, or feel better.

Some parts of the process — like approvals and paperwork — take time, but we do everything we can to keep things moving so our patients can, too.
